How to sell on Instagram without a website

Most small sellers in India start the same way: a few good photos, a reel that does well, and a flood of DMs asking for the price. Instagram is excellent at getting attention. It is not built to take an order.
A website looks like the answer, but building and running one is a project of its own — a domain, a theme, a payment setup, and hours of work before the first sale. For a seller whose customers already live on Instagram and WhatsApp, there is a lighter way.
Give every product its own link
The thing a buyer needs is not a website. It is one page for the product they just saw: the photos, the price, the sizes or options, and a clear next step. When that page has its own link, you can put it everywhere your buyers already are.
- In your Instagram bio, for the product you are pushing this week
- In the caption or a story link sticker on the reel that features it
- As the reply to every "price?" DM — one paste instead of a conversation
- In WhatsApp groups and status updates
Show the whole price up front
Buyers drop off when a number appears late. If you charge for delivery, say so on the product page, beside the price — not at the end. A buyer who sees the full amount before choosing a size is a buyer who finishes the order.
On LinkToLoot, every charge you set is shown on the product page itself, and the total at checkout never contains a line the buyer was not shown first.
Put your products in one shop
Once you have more than a handful of products, a storefront helps: one link that lists everything you sell, under your brand name. Keep single product links for reels and DMs, and the shop link for your bio.
Getting started
LinkToLoot is built for exactly this: sellers who sell through social media and want each product to have a proper page. You add your products from your phone, publish them, and share the links. There is a free plan to start with, and every seller is reviewed before their shop goes live, so buyers know they are dealing with a real business.
