Taking orders on WhatsApp without the back-and-forth

For most small businesses in India, WhatsApp is the shop counter. Buyers trust it, they reply quickly, and they would rather message you than fill in a form. The trouble starts when the order itself happens in chat.
A typical order on WhatsApp takes a dozen messages: which product, which size, is it in stock, what is the price with delivery, what is your address, have you paid. Each one is a chance for a mistake — the wrong size, a typo in a pincode, a payment screenshot that matches no order.
Start the chat with the details already in it
The fix is to let the buyer choose before they message you. When a product page has a WhatsApp order button, the buyer picks the product and option on the page, and the message they send you already names the product, the option and the price. You skip straight to confirming.
On LinkToLoot, the price in that message is worked out by our server, not typed by the buyer — so the amount in the chat is always the amount on your page.
Keep the buyer updated without typing it out
After the order, buyers want to know two things: that you received it, and when it ships. Sending those updates by hand for every order is where evenings go.
LinkToLoot sends order confirmations and dispatch updates, including the courier tracking link, to the buyer on WhatsApp. Buyers can also look up their order themselves with their order code and phone number.
When you are ready for online payment
Taking orders over WhatsApp works well while volumes are small. As you grow, card and UPI checkout on the product page itself removes the payment-screenshot step entirely. On LinkToLoot this comes with the plans that include online checkout, and your product links do not change when you switch — the same link starts offering checkout.
